Partners in everyday life and passionate about food, Emmanuelle Roduit and Michaël Egloff dreamed of running their own restaurant.
Following studies in history and economics at Fribourg university and a diploma from the Hotel Management School of Geneva (Ecole hôtelière de Genève), Emmanuelle continued working in this field in Switzerland and China. She pairs the best local wines. She did grow up in a wine-producing family in Fully, after all!
Michaël chose to be a chef early on. At 24 years old, he opened his own restaurant, the Saint-André, in Chamoson, where his amazing burgers were well-known. The desire to take a break led him to explore eastern Europe for 3 months.
